Column #328        December 17, 2021Freedom

There are about 24 million government employees. There’s an estimated 59 million Americans receiving welfare during an average month. There are 70 million Social Security recipients. About 35 million families currently receive monthly Child Tax Credit payments. There is some overlap of course.1 2 3

As you can see, many Americans are already, or are becoming, dependent on the Federal government (working Americans and the printing press) for some or all of their income. Yes, even Social Security, Medicare, and similar programs are not actually funded by savings, rather the funds are transfer payments from current taxpayers. The government is not holding any actual savings accounts in the classical sense.

Bureaucrats and professional politicians love social programs and they want more of them. In addition, for decades the Federal government has been providing “grants” to universities, school systems, various infrastructure projects, healthcare systems, and much more. In so doing they have made virtually every citizen and their local (city, county, and state) governments dependent on money from the Federal government.

The Federal government’s “generosity” has mushroomed exponentially during the past 18 months with helicopter money flowing directly from the U.S. Treasury to all citizens for whatever reason. We’ve all received money that was sent directly to our bank accounts and I doubt if anyone turned it down. It’s crazy, I know. But worst of all—its dangerous.

Most handouts come with strings attached. Consequently, directly or indirectly citizens become addicted to them in varying degrees of dependancy. If they aren’t willing to refuse the handouts, they can be forced to comply with the wishes of Federal bureaucrats, professional politicians, and their enforcers. It’s either they comply or be left out. For instance, nearly every university, science project, or art program is marching to the beat of the Federal bureaucracy. Highway projects are the same. Search the internet for “federal government programs for . . . ” and fill in the blank. Watch, it’s amazing there’s something for about everything one can dream up.4

Fauci’s pandemic has been an “excuse” for ramping up the Federal government’s dictatorial policies. Fauci insists that every American must get the jab—not once, not twice, but three times. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. thinks the corrupt Tony Fauci wants to eliminate the chance of there being an unvaccinated cohort group that researchers can use to compare to the vaccinated groups. Fauci doesn’t want future peer-reviewed studies to be able to compare the effectiveness of the vaccines or the harm they do. If in a couple of years some groups remain unvaccinated, there may be some interesting comparisons made between vaccinated and unvaccinated groups as to effectiveness, deaths, and side effects.5

Right now it’s obvious to anyone who can read and think. The COVID-19 vaccines are not very effective at preventing disease and, since they are so targeted, they are even less effective against mutations. In fact, they may have opened the door for more mutations than would have occurred if therapeutic measures had been used rather than vaccines to battle the Coronavirus. There’s also numerous side effects showing up such as myocarditis, pathogenic priming, blood clots, death soon after taking the vaccine, and many others!6

Is it because Fauci doesn’t want a non vaccinated cohort group out there why we’re seeing mandates for vaccines like we’ve never seen before? If you don’t get the jab you lose your job, you can’t go here or there, you may be sent to quarantine camps, you may be fined, you can’t play football, and you may lose some monetary benefits. Who knows what’s coming next. Maybe even a jab will be required to receive social security!

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
― C.S. Lewis, God in the Dock: Essays on Theology (Making of Modern Theology)

There’s only one thing standing between American citizens and total subjugation. It’s the foundation for our freedoms that our Founding Fathers set up in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Of course, for those rights to remain intact, it also takes a classical interpretation by the court system to not change their intent and a police force that will enforce the court’s orders.7

That’s why talk of packing the courts with socialist judges, along with firing freedom-supporting police officers, is being pushed by today’s radical leftists. They want a legal force that will put teeth in their decrees rather than uphold the Constitution. If they are successful, then all Americans will simply be serfs in a land that was once theirs. They will be worse off than the colonists who revolted against the English 250 years ago.

There really isn’t such a thing as a free lunch. Yet there are some members of the younger generations that feel like the older generations owe them something. Many don’t drive, still live with parents, and expect parents to help them every time they have a little trouble in life. Kids like that will gladly vote for $1,000 a month from Uncle Sam’s printing press—until inflation makes that look too small. Then they’ll want a “raise.” Many of them actually think the government is like a business or person who works and actually has income. They don’t understand that governments only have money if they take it from productive people at the point of a gun or by printing and inflating away the value of the currency held by the public.

Being responsible for our own actions starts with not becoming dependent on the government. And in that vein I must stress the importance of getting control over your own health. Fauci is strictly a drugs-and-operations bureaucrat. He wants everyone to be beholding to Big Pharma and Big Medicine. To avoid the healthcare industry’s belly of the beast, you need to take care of yourself. From all the literature I’ve read, the best diet for optimal health and the strongest immune system consists of whole foods that are low glycemic, nutrient dense and diverse with 1:1 balanced essential fatty acids—Omega-6 and Omega-3. That’s not all. One also needs to add proper rest, meditation, exercise, and a positive frame of mind to a good diet.8

In closing I must mention that the best food selections are always grass-fed meats, Omega-3 meats, and wild-caught seafood.

To your health.
