Did You Know?
Chicken and pork are the most misunderstood meats. There are all kinds of raising methods that elicit really good fuzzy feelings. But if they are fed the conventional feeds for pigs and chickens, their nutritional profiles are not anywhere close to the legitimate Grass-fed Meats and Omega-3 Meats.

Above is a comparison table of the essential fatty acid balances of four different classes of chicken. Naturally these numbers are estimates. All Cornish Cross broilers raised for meat grow so fast they must be harvested in seven to eight weeks. They are not good grazers like egg-laying hens that can live for years.
Omega-3 Chickens and Omega-3 pigs are not fed the same kind of diet. They may grow just as fast, but the nutritional characteristics of their diets are quite different and more expensive.
