Why Slanker’s Grass-Fed Pet Food Is the Healthiest Choice on Earth
The Basics
All Slanker Grass-Fed and Omega-3 Meats are Beyond Organic. That means they go far beyond the buzzwords you see on typical food labels. Our meats are natural, sugar-free, non-GMO, hormone-free, antibiotic-free, gluten-free, cage-free, and humanely raised.
But what truly makes our meats the healthiest in the world is not just how they’re raised—it’s their chemistry. Slanker meats are zero glycemic, nutrient dense, and have Omega-6 to Omega-3 balances under 2:1. These three qualities directly affect health and disease far more than every other “organic” label combined.
That’s why we call our products Beyond Organic—because the difference isn’t in marketing; it’s in the science.
Simple Ingredients. Real Food.

Large Premium “Whole Cow” Pet Food with Organs
Lean grass-fed beef, fat, gristle, and all organs coarse-ground together.
That’s it. No fillers, no artificial colors or preservatives, no vegetable or fruit additives. Just pure, biologically appropriate nutrition.
Now compare that with the ingredient list from a leading pet food brand like Blue Buffalo, which includes dozens of additives—ranging from pea starch and caramel color to synthetic vitamins and artificial “natural flavors.” The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
Why Grass-Fed Meat Is the Ultimate Pet Food
Before commercial pet foods existed, pets ate real food—scraps of meat, bones, and organs. But as convenience took over after World War II, companies began marketing cheap, grain-filled “complete diets” as replacements for natural meat.
The result? Pets developed the same chronic diseases plaguing humans—obesity, arthritis, heart disease, allergies, and cancer. Most commercial pet foods, even expensive “health” brands, are high in Omega-6 fatty acids, high glycemic, and low in real nutrients.
Grain-fed and processed diets simply can’t provide the nutritional diversity and balance found in grass-fed meats. Worse, grains are often contaminated with mycotoxins—toxic molds that harm pets’ immune systems and organs over time.
By contrast, grass-fed meats naturally provide all the essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals pets need. When animals eat green plants, they accumulate nutrients in perfect biological balance—just as nature intended.
What Pets Eat in the Wild
In the wild, cats eat small prey—raw grass-fed meats, organs, and bones. Dogs are omnivorous scavengers but still thrive primarily on meat, fat, and bones. Neither species evolved to eat rice, corn, peas, potatoes, or “fortified vegetable blends.”
That’s why grass-fed meat is the only truly natural diet for pets. It’s what their bodies are designed to digest. It provides the Omega-3 fatty acids that support brain function, mobility, and a healthy immune system.
Cooking meat destroys some of those nutrients, so for optimal results, we recommend feeding raw grass-fed meats. Unlike grain-fed livestock, grass-fed animals do not harbor acid-resistant E. coli, making their raw meats far safer for pets.
Our Premium Pet Foods
Slanker Grass-Fed Pet Food is made from the same nutrient-dense meats we sell for human consumption. Each blend is coarse-ground and packed with lean meat, fat, and organs—providing the complete range of amino acids, fats, and micronutrients pets need.
Our Premium Pet Food Mixes average around 85/15 lean-to-fat ratio, with about 6% organ content. Everything is 100% grass-fed and frozen raw. No additives. No fillers. No shortcuts.
We also offer a variety of grass-fed pet bones for chewing, recreation, and supplemental nutrition:
- Edible Dog Bones – Soft brisket bones that won’t splinter.
- Gnawing Bones – Dense hip bones for hours of chewing.
- Knuckle Marrow Bones – Cartilage-rich bones for dental health and joint support.
- Grass-Fed Beef Suet – A nutritious fat source for energy and radiant coat health.
Feeding Guidelines
Feed your pets about 1% to 3% of their body weight daily, depending on size, activity level, and season. Larger dogs typically need less by percentage, while smaller, high-energy breeds may require more.
If your pet has been eating commercial kibble, expect a short adjustment period. Grain-based pet foods are engineered with addictive artificial flavors—so switching to clean, real food may take time. But the results are worth it. Most pets adapt within days and thrive within weeks.
Why It Matters
Your pet’s health depends entirely on what it eats. Just like humans, animals can’t thrive on ultra-processed, high-sugar, high-Omega-6 diets.
Slanker’s Grass-Fed and Omega-3 Pet Meats are made from the same Beyond Organic food that supports human health. They’re nutrient-dense, perfectly balanced, and completely natural—because pets deserve food as real as the love we give them.
