Straight chicken marrow bones for making a high fat broth. Unless broth is made with bones and skin with properly balanced fats, it's not a healthy broth. If the bones are from corn fed birds, then the broth is like corn oil. Slanker Select Omega-3 chicken has an Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio of 1.5:1. This is much better than Pastured poultry at 8:1 or higher and Free Range poultry at 16:1 or higher. Like SGFM's grass-fed meats, Slanker Select Omega-3 chicken is zero glycemic, nutrient dense, and has a healthy balance of essential fatty acids.
