I just received and read the latest Slanker email headed "Pork Myths," and I feel compelled to tell you how much I enjoyed it and all the other regular emails I get from Slanker.
Good Customers make for Great Service. Yes, it takes two to tango. We do aim to please. But we can't be responsible for mistakes the customer makes in either his selections or the way he prepares his food. If we are attacked, we will always try to maintain a professional attitude. But we won't roll over either. This grass-fed meat business is not the easiest in the world. Far from it. There's the critters, the weather, the transportation hurdles, breakdowns, goose-stepping government watchdogs, crooks, shipping issues, and this is only the beginning of the list. Add in belligerent and/or very spoiled customers who demand perfection at every turn, and life becomes hardly tolerable. So sure, when folks are pleasant even when it's not all rosy, that sure does help a lot. :-)
