Science Links

“Most people say that it is the intellect which makes a great scientist.  They are wrong: It is character.” -- Albert Einstein,

Science (from Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge") is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.  Good science is based on Critical Thinking.  There is a tremendous quantity of information on the Internet.  Some of the more popular information sources are not science based.  They are literally opinions or marketing propaganda that have gained broad-based acceptance among some people.  In other words, their ideas are more like a religion.

Just because many people or most people believe something that does not make it true.  When it comes to our heath these myths become dangerous.  Some of the greatest myths are focused on health and nutrition.  From simple things like defining good food and bad to more complex issues involving beliefs regarding organic, GMO, contaminants, etc.

The Science Links section of our Website is focused on getting the story straight.  Consequently, some presentations are for expanding our knowledge and some presentations are major myth busters.  Naturally, not everyone agrees.  In fact, some people get very agitated when their beliefs are being addressed and exposed as unsupported beliefs.  They want to believe their myths because their favorite myths provide comfort and all too often support their lifestyle choices.  If you are interested in the truth, then buckle your seat belt and take a ride down through these amazing links.  Topics include nutrition, evolutionary development of man, mycotoxins, molds, GMO (genetics), organics (chemistry and contaminants), and much more.
