Instant Pot Savory Chicken

A great fast family recipe that they will enjoy. The chicken is moist and packed with flavor.


3 lbs Cut-Up Omega-3 Chicken Fryer, or bone-in chicken parts
⅓ c honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ c low sodium soy sauce
½ c no salt, sugar-free ketchup
½ tsp dried oregano
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 Tbsp. macadamia nut oil
Salt and fresh Ground Pepper, to taste
Sliced green onions, for garnish


1. In a small mixing bowl combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, ketchup, oregano and parsley; mix until well combined and set aside.
2. Heat the “Instant Pot” in sauté mode. Add macadamia nut oil to the pot.
3. Season chicken with salt and pepper; arrange in the pot and cook for about two to three minutes per side.
4. Add the honey garlic sauce to the pot; cover and lock the lid.
5. Cook in poultry mode for 20 minutes.
6. Turn off the pot and allow it to release the pressure.
7. Transfer chicken to a serving plate and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Garnish with green onions. Serve with your favorite vegetables and salad.
