This is a simple Omega-3 pork chop recipe that delighted my friends. The plates were “licked” clean and all guests left with a copy of the recipe.
Ingredients:4 Omega-3 Pork Butterfly Chops or Pork Chops (the thinner pork chops cook faster)½ tsp paprikaSalt and pepper to taste¼ cup butter, divided8 oz mushroom sliced. (Either fresh or canned)4 cloves garlic, minced (if you really like garlic add one more clove)1 tsp Dijon mustard2 Tbsp. flour (thickener)2 cups Grass-Fed Beef Broth
1. Season both sides of pork chops with paprika, salt and pepper.2. Use large skillet over medium-hih heat.
Ingredients:
1 package fresh or smoked ham slices
2-3 Tbs. healthy fat or rendered suet
Instructions:
Put fat in large skillet (avoid using non-stick skillets!) and heat over medium low heat. Add ham slices and heat on one side.
Turn and heat until both sides are thoroughly heated. For fresh ham slices, make sure the meat is fully cooked before you eat it. For smoked slices, heating the meat all the way through is fine. Taking internal meat temperature on thin slices is not practical. Keep in mind that 160 degrees internal is sufficient in terms of food safety and overcooked meat s dry and tough.
