A very flavorful Omega-3 Pork-Based side dish the whole family will enjoy.
4 strips Omega-3 Pork Bacon chopped2 Tbsp bacon grease½ cup onion chopped, white or purple1 can green beans, about 15 ounces, or 15 ounces fresh cut green beans
The Glaze:2 large cloves garlic minced¼ cup honey2 tsp Dijon mustard1 Tbsp macadamia nut oil
Optional: sweet potatoes (pre cooked), asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussel sprouts.
1. In a medium skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove from the pan.2. Drain bacon grease, leaving two tablespoons in the pan.3. Add the onions, cok until translucent or just tender.
