Whole Chicken Instant Pot

A simple recipe that can be prepared quickly for the entire family to enjoy.Full of flavor and moisture.


4 lb Omega-3 Whole Chicken
1 c Omega-3 Chicken Broth
4 Tbsp. garlic powder
2 tsp Redmond seasoning salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 Tbsp. T-Coons Seasoning
2 Tbsp. butter rub
1 tsp paprika
8 Tbsp. unsalted grass-fed butter, melted


1. Rinse chicken off. Pat dry inside and out with paper towels. Place chicken breast-side-up. Loosen the skin from the breast, drumsticks, and wings with a spoon.
2. In a small bowl combine all of the seasonings and melted butter.
3. Place a rack in the inner pot of your instant pot and add one cup of chicken broth. Add whole chicken breast-side-up.
4. Pour half the butter mixture under the skin, (you can use your fingers to massage the chicken and distribute the mixture) then spread the remaining butter mixture on top of the chicken.
5. Pressure cook for 24 minutes with 15-minute natural pressure release.
6. Optional: Place chicken onto a foil-lined baking sheet, season with more salt and pepper, T-Coons seasoning, and paprika if desired for a little color then broil on high till brown on top.
7. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Serve with your favorite salad and vegetables.
